same experience here with Narada, bought four of them brand new (30k each) for a 5kw setup alongwith Homage inverter, at first I was really happy because the backup time was 12 consecutive hours (yes we get that kind of power outage sometimes), but then the downfall started within a few months and after a year, now I'm left with 1 to 2 hour back up (no heavy load, otherwise it even goes off within 30 minutes), its really frustrating because I spent almost 200k on the setup. I'm also thinking about switching to local batteries but the mechanic said something like "sir ji acid wali battery overcharge ho k kharab ho jati hai heavy inverter ki waja se", no idea what he meant as I didn't understand the logic behind this. Anyways, I replaced one of those Narada batteries (it was deteriorating faster than all other batteries) with a new Homage battery, it came with warranty and life period of 18 months max (says on the package) cost 18000, the mechanic said only one narada battery was at fault which was causing imbalance, backup time improved a little for a few days only and then it went back to 2 hours max. I'm guessing I'll have to replace all of those Narada batteries.
