Best battery for UPS

I found another close relative who made 2 narada batteries setup at home last year and yesterday i found that his both batteries are swelled too. There are 2 possibilities either narada batteries have really pathetic quality or they are not made for our local hot and humid temperature. I have used dry batteries purchased from Lahore market but those were slightly used and they were made in eurpoen countries, their performance was much better than new narada betteries.

Yesterday i bought phoenix 220 ugs lets see how is the performance of local liquid battery!

i agree with this opinion narada quality is not as good as other eurpion made batteries i have used Bulgarian made battery it was bought in used condition but lasted 2-3 years in hot weather of Pakistan

Brother you are right in car the batteries are placed in very hot place, but that is well ventilated. but in the car batteries are not in use all the time, battery is only use for the initial startup for some seconds and are only used up-to 30 to 40% of battery. but in our home usage, we are using the batteries up-to 80 to 95% of battery.

As per my recommendation we have to use one bracket fan for the batteries and should use up-to 40 to 50 % of battery and use Distilled Water not AC water or any other. and for our country temperature we should use the led acid batteries because they can bear the hot temperature but the dry battery should have very good temperature for the best usage.

I am using Pheonix batteries for the past one year. Getting over 2 hours backup with 2 fans. Make sure your inverter is of good quality and does not over-charge the batteries.

Aoa. I am going to buy a battery for my ups (local made) with a budget of 7000 rs. The load I'll be putting on it is one ceiling fan and 4 energy savers. Loadshedding in our area is 10 hours/24 hrs. I am thinking of buying phoenix xp 100 will it be a good choice to support the backup?

W/S, My experience says mostly all batteries quality is same, only thing is you need to fill the water frequently, check that ups may over charging, if your ups in good shape as well water fill on time, Inshallah your battery life will be 3 years minimum.

Thanks for replying. Actually my question is that will the phienix xp100 which is a 70 ampere and 11 plates battery be able to tolerate the load? (1 ceiling fan and 4 energy savers) in a 10 hour loadshedding schedule
