Best car for a budget of 600-650k

Hello experts, I have a budget of 600-650k, I can push it up to 700k but I am not willing to unless I get a really good deal. Now I have been going through numerous topics and discussions but I am really confused about which car to go for. The cars that I think would come within my range are CULTUS, BALENO, LIANA, ALTO, and CUORE. Can you please give me a bit of advice about which car should I go for. I will be travelling daily so that means I am looking for a car that is tough. Also, it should give a decent fuel average. Please consider talking about maintenance costs when giving advice.
I should also add that this would be my first car and that I have literally no knowledge about cars.

I will suggest santro or liana in your budget depending upon which one you find in better condition cultus you will only find non efi version whereas alto is having bad average and cuore is small but there is an advantage of cuore that you have an option of automatic transmission in it but the best option in my opinion is Liana it is a sedan and that itself speaks about its value and if you can find one good condition take it

Cultus eye closed. Dont listen to anyone saying non-efi or anything, its a workhorse and reliably serving from rural to urban Pakistan even today. Enjoys best resale, its parts and mechanical support are widely available. Just keep a certain amount of 30k spare in hand for any unexpected expenses.

A carburetor vehicle will be more pocket friendly in terms of maintenance, sure it will not be as fuel efficient as efi but it also doesn't have a computer. I practically had my alto submerged till the bonnet under water and it still did not stop. It turned off at a pump nearby and after a short wait started up again.

Not only this, practically each and every part is very cheap, interior handles break very frequently so keep 2 handles as a spare (Rs 150/ handle) and learn to fix it yourself. The fewer the components the less likelihood that the car can breakdown and even if it does its easier to repair. Either go for an Alto or a Coure, neither will Liana be a suitable choice or Santro or any other vehicle that is old or has an efi system that will make you spend a lot to repair.

If you can compromise a little comfort , in 700k you’ll find a relatively newer mehran efi , and if well kept it’s a rugged car for rural ya urban.
