Every year, PakWheels.com conducts a comprehensive automobile industry survey to ascertain the choices, habits, and preferences of the consumers. This survey also helps compare and analyze new data with the old one. The survey provides valuable insights into the behaviors, preferences, and trends of the Pakistani automobile community.
This year’s survey also tracked consumers’ preferences when it came to car insurance, car financing, and other such services. These services help consumers in either obtaining or securing their cars. Pakistan has several different companies and institutes that offer these surveys so let’s find out which one is the best among them all!
The PakWheels Automobile Industry Survey 2022 gives us similar insights. With over 29,000 participants, the survey yielded exciting results reflecting the choices and opinions of Pakistani consumers.
Best Car Finance Service
Out of all the participants, 18% said that they had their car financed. The majority of the participants chose Meezan Bank as the best bank for car financing in Pakistan. A whopping 13% of the participants chose Meezan Bank, followed by Bank Alfalah with 11% votes and Habib Bank Limited (HBL) with 9% votes.
When asked about the reasons for choosing a particular bank for car financing, the respondents cited the following reasons to be the most important -
- Reliability of bank
- Low interest Rate
- Islamic Financing option
Car Insurance is an important, if not mandatory, service in Pakistan. Out of all the respondents, 26% said that they had their car insured. Out of them, 58% of respondents claimed that they preferred Islamic insurance options.
Ironically, the majority of the sample did not know what company’s car insurance they had. Other than them, 14% of the participants said they had EFU Car Insurance, followed by Adamjee Insurance and then TPL Insurance.
Best Car Tracking Service
Car tracking makes your car secure and allows you to track its location in case of theft. 23% of the participants of the survey claimed that their cars were fitted with trackers. Out of that 23%, 54% of participants said that they got their trackers directly from the company.
The majority of the respondents did not know which company tracker was fitted in their car. Of those who knew, 22% said they had TPL Trakker in their car, followed by Falcon i-Tracker used by 14% of participants.
This shows that the consumers prefer to have their cars insured and fitted with trackers and usually trust a handful of companies with these services.
