My car is heating up with A/C and bit rust in radiator Can anybody tell Good coolant for the car And also oil.

For oil, semi synthetic or mineral 10w-40 or above oil grade.

For Coolant, ZIC or preferably, Caltex all the way!

Pour coolant after complete flushing of cooling system, and radiator service (preferable).

Ensure that Thermostat Valve is installed and fan is on Auto. Also replace radiator cap in the end.

Check ur radiator first before pouring coolant

Bro first of all flush out your radiator with any radiator flush or distilled water will also do the job. Caltex or zic coolants are the best I've used. First drain everything from ur radiator. Put in distilled water. Let car warm up to operating temperature, drain it and then put coolant. Ensure there are no leaks and thermostat is installed and fan is auto.
For oil, any 10w40 or above grade oil from any reputed brand will work absolutely fine.

Advantage of Auto fan

Direct fan decreases engine life by not letting the oil and engine reach it's optimum temperature
Lessers fan life because fan is always working hard(ur fan will get burnt quickly)
Reduces battery life because fan takes power from battery to work
Direct fan decreases performance of car and increases fuel consumption.

Caltex coolant is 1000 rs for 1 litre

Mix with 1 litre RO water and you have 2 litres coolant for rs 1000.

It is also available in bulk for abt rs 840/litre but you need to purchase a minimum of 20 litres.

Toyota amrici jenyann gulabi sharbatt is premixed, meaning it only has 500 ml coolant for rs 1500, the rest 500 ml is RO water.

Fan to be made direct, must be sincerely avoided at any / all costs.

Dear why Toyota? and why not Caltex Coolant?

I have recently used it, and trust me, its one of the best value to money coolants.

Bought one of the bottles from one of their biggest authorized dealers in Lahore, and it just costed me Rs. 910 / L. 1.5L De-Mineralised / De-Ionized water bottle in 70~90 Rs. and you have 2L coolant mixture in just 1,000 Rs.

The same from Toyota will cost you Rs. 3,000, i.e. 3 times the price.

Asslamoelikum Friends! I was using Havloline 20w50 for my Automatic Coure 2008 (90k Driven), but I want to switch to ZIC (x7 10w40 )or Shell (HX6 10w40), I'm confused weather car start Reducing Engine oil or Produce white smoke. Please help me to take right Decision and recommend me which one is better ZIC or Shell. Engine is almost Perfect no issue at all.
