QUESTION: Ok thanks a lot just one last question is it necessary to flush the cooling system or I can just put the coolant would it be fine.
ANSWER: Sir, this question has been answered in great detail above. 1 - You should not mix coolants as you don't know what was there before. Let me say that today there are a multitude of coolants relating to different technologies. Here are a few types of coolants so you may have a greater understanding as to why you should not mix:
a - IAT (Inorganic Additive Technology) Silicates generally for older vehicles not so good with some aluminum radiators. Good with copper/brass radiators.
b - OAT (Organic Acid Technology) Organic Acids (good with modern alu block/head/radiator also long life typically 5 yeas or so)
c - HOAT (Hybrid OAT) Silicates & Organic Acids
d - HOAT (Hybrid OAT, Phosphate-free)
e - P-HOAT (Phosphated HOAT) Phosphates & Organic Acids
f - Si-OAT (Silicated HOAT) Silicates & Organic Acids
Not all are mixable with each other.
So if you are insisting on adding coolant, there is no way but to drain the system, refill with water, run the engine, drain the water and fill with 50-50 coolant water mix as excellently explained by @aminjafer5441 in much detail.. Please keep in mind that you will never be completely empty the system. There will ALWAY be some quantity of old coolant remaining. That is why a water flush is done so as to dilute the old stuff as much as possible.
Now, 2 if you just want to add stuff in the expansion bottle so you can see the level, as already mentioned, you can add distilled water or bottled drinking water. Based on our ambient temperatures that does not go below freezing, you can go as low as 30% coolant and 70% water so the 1-2 liters of water added in the expansion bottle will not adversely effect the concentration and freeze protection. Ideally the recommendation is to stick with 50-50.
Question: edit : should i order the Aisin coolant from daraz?
Answer: What grade is Aisin coolant? IAT or OAT or HOAT or P-HOAT?? Do a bit of research. Gain knowledge. Then proceed with ordering.
