Best Credit/Debit card for online transactions

Hello everyone,
I hope you all are having good sunday.
I just turned 18 and I have to get a Bank Account and then a Credit or a Debit card for online transactions for paying my college fees and all.

Please guide me;

which is most reliable bank with no issues of connectivity and network? (I am a student so i will select bank with least monthly or yearly charges(if there are any) normal charges are acceptable.)

I want to get credit card or Debit card, Most probably i will be getting a Debit card, So keeping debit card online transactions in mind please tell me about the relaible banking network.

I am thinking about HSBC Barclays or Citibank as i believe their quality will be better than our local banks. I just dont know about them, I am only judging on basis of International and Local.

Anyways, Reason of posting this online is for proper guidance. So please provide your adequate reviews as quick as possible and help me decide.

dont know abt know but citibank last year had some fees 4 their cards but for bank alfalah their cards are 4free because they had free forever witten on their montly bill envelope

BankAlfalah Credit Card. No yearly charges whatsoever, no extra charges on transactions if you pay within billing date. As for online transaction then its the most reliable I've used. By default your card can't be used on internet. You have to call the service center, give them many details to prove your authenticity (only basic card holder will be able to do that. Supplementary card holders can't open their cards for internet usage) and then they will allow your card to be used on the internet. You can tell them that allow the card for 20mins/1hr etc. and also the amount. I remember a friend had 2 disputed transactions with a so called international bank. His card was used online for PKR 40k. Then he opted for BAL card and no regrets.

My personal experience with many international banks was a nightmare.

I have good experience with banking with SC .Plus point is the online banking. I dont advise you going for a credit card. If you want, try UBL wiz - the prepaid credit cards. these cards can be misused very easily

ive been using UBL WIZ from a long time just for online shopping, the card does not require any bank account and no statements being sent to your house:)
WIZ is prepaid debit card, same as a prepaid simcard, just load the balance by visiting a ubl branch and shop online.
they just launched UBL WIZ teens which does not have any fee but is restricted to 20k PKR.

This is the ultimate free service. 50 rs charges fr sms per month. And with int shopping it just charged me a bit more than the interbank rate. Infact 20 dollars more fr 780 dollars bill. The rate ws 101.33 and it charged 102.84 fr aus $
