had a bad experience with GREE, got one inverter based back in 2016 AUG/SEP used it for couple of months only, then in APR of 2017 when tried turning it on, its outdoor unit wasn't turning on for some unknown reason, tried calling GREE service center, they keep redirecting me for two/three days, may be as it was under warranty, then early morning i got lucky that my call was picked and complaint was recorded, i asked them i can provide pick n drop to technicians but they said they need to schedule the visit and they will come at their own, ok fine, couple of good weeks gone no response, again tried calling and when call was answered i gave them previous complaint number and stupidly they said you should be calling from same number from where you complaint last time, i mean really? well then they came checked the AC told some part needs replacement and they replaced it, it was fixed by end of MAY 2017, went abroad didnt used it till SEP 2017, it worked good rest of the time, and now again tried turning it on APR 2018 same outdoor unit not working, again called for help, this time they were quick may be as its out of warranty, within a week time they came checked outdoor unit and took the damaged part and said they will be back in 4 days or so, and also they informed the next part to be replaced
as per my experience i wont recommend GREE to anyone atleast.
