Yup! My Panasonic 1.5 Heat&Cool inverter starts at 10A on a hot day and eventually comes down to 1A. And 0.3A when the compressor trips. When set at 28°C, it maintains the room between 27.5-28

Bought for 83K without pipe/wire kit from Lahore.

As far as the Invertor technology comes the Ac is not going to trip anyway it will just adjust speed itself to maintain the room temp and avoid triping means on & Off compressor frequently

Salam all,

i am looking to buy a DC inverter. looking for best value for money product.

I have shortlisted ORIENT 1.5 AC, it has a wifi feature which i am really digging it.
Atm i am using acson ac which i bought in 2006 lol.

Is orient good enough? 1.5 Ton is 62k on yayvo heat and cool dc inverter, is that really DC or jsut a selling gimmick?

62k is quite less. It must be non wifi and non-goldfin model.
I am using orient, wifi is just a shashka, if you wanna see amp draws, you can install an amp meter near its switch, much cheaper. I never felt the need to turn on/off AC using remotely.

Make sure the model you are buying has Gold fins and low voltage start-up. These are important features. Make sure to get it vacuumed before releasing gas. It is clearly written in user manual and a very important procedure otherwise say good bye to compressor within few years.

My experience with orient so far is good. Their wifi is not really worth it though, app is not too stable and reports are worthless. Their hourly/daily/monthly usage reports are barely useful. Better have a look at your electricity meter at night and in morning to get accurate consumption.
