Best dc inverter ac 2018?

I want to buy a 1.5 ton inverter AC in Lahore. While doing research on different brands in market and price, I noticed that Mitsubishi is being sold at much cheaper rate with 1 year warranty, saying that it is imported AC and not being assembled in pakistan that's why it is cheap. While having same performance. Local 1.5 ton mitsubishi ac price is around 85k-90k While imported one I am getting from 60k - 65k. You can check OLX for that. Same kind of thing I noticed about Gree.

Does anyone have experience of this? What do you guys recommend?

You can use it in 8x8 room with small height of roof like 10 feet

Today I give you details knowledge of inverter Ac.
First point
Inverter ac depends on outside temperature. And then room size and room temperature.
If outside temperature is 39 to 45 its starting ampere is 7.5 to 9 amp. After room temperature comes on Ac thermostate Temperature then its take 3.5 to 4.5. If ac feel easy to maintain thermostate temperature, mean ur cooling remain safe. No doors opem again and again. Curtain on windows, not so much gathering then it will comes on 3 to 3.5 amp.
But their is Bersat season then outside temperature is below then ur will run on 2 to 3 amp.

In last my opinion to buy Inverter ac.
I am using two inverter ac s
1. Gree 18fith1w 2019 1.5 ton
2. Pel fith ac 1.5 ton
In which Gree ac is best in cooling and also in ampere.
But chang hung ruba and dawalance is also best.

I bought Haier 1.5 ton HNH series inverter class from Metro but seems pathetic quality.
4 months after installation, gas got Leaked then repaired from company as it was factory installation. Expense around 5K
Then after 11 months, inner coil got leaked another 11k expense.
Then now its almost 18 months since buying and cooling again decreased.

Also remote control also sometimes work sometimes not. Got it repaired serviced 2 times. Use of energizer heavy duty battery
Proper maintenance and timely service but I think I am ripping off by AC technicians.

Can anyone recommend good AC technicians or shop in Karachi who do ac jobs, repairs and original gas plus specially vacuuming in Professional way

Have got same experience with Haier. Bought AC 6 years ago. Refrigerant was low on new AC got it topped up used for a few days and went outstation for job and didnt used it in that season. In the next season gas was again zero. Got it checked from a really nice technician who checked the leakage by first vac-cumming the circuit. Came to know that there was a leak in pipe from the bent going inside the compressor.

Used for a few days and then again went outstation to my work place. then after 3 years, out of which it was used for just 30 days at max, heat and cool switching valve went mad. For no reason AC started to switch to heat mode in the middle of night.

Now in this season i have thrown it out and bought a new Kenwood AC.

Should have bought an imported brand like Panasonic, Bosch, or a Hitachi but was seriously short of cash.

Any electrical appliance be it a compressor of an AC, a common use induction motor or any other moving machinery, if it is powered through an inverter unit the current drawn will start from a minimum possible value but large enough to overcome the starting torque/friction etc.

My home inverter type AC starts from 1 A and the current then creeps up till 8.6 i.e., it's rated cutrent if the temperature is above 40 then it further goes up to 10.5 A (maximum current) and as the temperture starts to maintain it gradually comes down.

He told me the Gree come in Saudi Arabia
A 1 material used but Gree in Pakistan lowest quality material that is why not quality 100%
Kenwood not in Saudi Arabia only in pak

I’m about to ready to pull the trigger on dawlance. Can anyone help differentiate between their models? I’m not sure which dawlance to get.

I think most of their models r marketing gimmick as using same compresser and condenser in all models ( other than one model using T3 compresser).
Today bought Dawlence Sprinter 1.5 invt.
Though, design is quite average along with those cheap stickers.
But m quite happy with my purchase so far.
Using it since last 5hrs very good cooling.
Amp after 20 mins: 2.3
Amp after attaing temp( after 30 mins) : 1.8
Just noticed, amp mtr showing below 1, I think compresser tripped. Though still not felt any significant drop in cooling.
Set temp is 28/15x13 room with no direct sunlight.

congrats. I got two, aura and elegant. they’re both 1.5s and seem to be working just fine. I chose these because of their built in heating function, will need that come winter. I haven’t installed any ampere meters, waiting to see what my utility bill says. anyway, thanks for taking the time to reply. sprinter I believe is the latest in their line.

Hi I have 2 Gree 1 ton inverters one is G10 other is Fairy model.

Fairy has higher throw however I checked with energy meter that old model always has >0.95 power factor and fairy model has 0.75 below 3.5A and after that becomes 0.92.

I am an engineer and cannot understand advantage of 0.75 Power Factor.

All ACs maintain PF close to .95-98 as it is most efficient for grid as well as solar use.

Can you pls investigate why the engineers chose this pattern for power factor correction? My number is 03334612611 if possible pls get me in touch a an engineering person, so I can check there is no fault in my fairy inverter.
