I have a Mira E:S 2012 and its been running fine with small issues here and there. The problem I have noticed that local mechanics don't know how to properly maintain these cars. They recommend the wrong oil change, etc. and I have to insisit on using the recommended grade oils every time. The engine is running fine now however the Catalytic converter was choked two years ago and after a lot of searching I found Carismatic Cleaning in DHA who cleaned it without dismantling or cutting. Since then I see many others using the same method. After cleaning the engine is running fine and getting good fuel average (15-20km/l). A few days ago the check engine light has turned on and I need to find a reliable mechanic to diagnose this issue and do a full checkup to spot any other issues as i have put 95000km on it.
The second issue is the electronics, the buzzer for turn indicators and resevsing is not working. I am so far unable to find any repair guy for this. I am 95% sure its just a loose connection as the buzzer starts working randomly. Also I have noticed that it works a lot more during the winters as it is on more than 50% of the time in Dec & Jan and rest of the year it works only about 10% of the time. Every electrician I have talked to says that he will just replace my entire instrument panel for Rs 8k to 10k and thats the only fix for this. I am very doubtful as it seems like a loose connection (solder point) to me and at worst the buzzer would need replacement. But noone knows where the buzzer is located even
how can they be expected to fix it. Any experienced referral would be highly appreciated.
thanks in advance
