Where in Lahore can one get a decent chicken biryani?

First ever Sindhi biryani shop I visited In 80's was in anarkali near aabkari road. It is selling a very decent biryani.

For mutton pulao in desi ghee, no one can beat khan baba at choburji. Just awesome. No second words.

And my favorite is bhaiya ke kabab in model town:-)

It was really good a few years back. I was a big fan but can you imagine, my last visit to bhayya kabbab was around 5 years ago owing to 3-4 bad experience with them on the throught.

I've been exploring Lahore foods since 1980's ,from street side "rarhaie's" to high end restaurant

Visited lot of hidden places with "special guest"

Have lot of fun with friends in all kinda places , deep in side the wall city Dahabbs & rite in the middle of canal with tarbooz & mango's

Visited with family on decent restaurants & lot of other family places included food street

Again visited lot of places with "special guest" (this time begum) & she used to say App koo itnee saree places kaa kasay pata hayy , abb kesay batainn kay kesay paata hay :-#

Than came the kids & visited lot of kids kinda places but these boys a real lahore's & love traditional food

The only thing I noticed in this journey is the decline of quality & service

Same is the case with me. I have visited many of food place in Lahore, from reh'ri to 5 stars and I agree with you that quality has declined over the period of time in addition to insane increase in prices.

Nevertheless, I would love to have your advices regarding your various experiences with Many food places in Lahore, from reh'ri to 5 stars.

Is it near akbar chowk, if yes than it is almost newly built like 5-6 months because there was no such restaurant at that place with such name 5-6 months ago, its just that I remember where lahore broast is

I like Gawalmandi food street when i was on lahore trip... Lassi shop at corner and shawarma waala infront of that shop was mind blowing

Today had iftari at Xiwang Restaurant, very nice restaurant with good variety in buffet, taste was good as well. Also very economical, Rs 850 (without tax)
Went to Boulevard Bar & Grill yesterday, although the ambiance is good, but very limited choice in buffer, taste was so so and its expensive as well. Rs 1400 (without tax)
Also went to Butlers Chocolate Cafe and had chocolate milkshake and it was so yummy, loved it..

Yeah the taste of kabab is not that good as 5 years back bt now there are many fake bhaiya ke kabbab which is the problem

the marroco resturant buffet at DHA CLUB is value for money........500 + tax but the dahi ballhae were sour rest was wonderfull.
