whenever i visit lahore eating JAWED FISH at Muzang Chowrangi is a must if u get lucky and its not closed then.

I haven't seen javed fish there but there is almash'hoor Bashir dar ul mahi ( now aslam darul mahi) with excellent fish with match.

if any one had a chance to visit Badamai bagh truck stand. there is a hotel there named as Jamshed Khan Namak Mandi Walay.

awesome food. Dumba karahi and Bar b q. and very economical.

Jamshed khan is the same person who started the SARHAD hotel in gulberg with a partner. afterwards his partner kicked him off and now he is back to his original place.

do give it a try on my special recommendations.

Yes the mushroom soup is awesome there. But they have closed their chinese menu.

It's open now again....great place for people who like Italian food. This is an Italian restaurant with awesome food. Their location is now changed. I think check their fb page.

I've been exploring Lahore foods since 1980's ,from street side "rarhaie's" to high end restaurant

Visited lot of hidden places with "special guest"

Have lot of fun with friends in all kinda places , deep in side the wall city Dahabbs & rite in the middle of canal with tarbooz & mango's

Visited with family on decent restaurants & lot of other family places included food street

Again visited lot of places with "special guest" (this time begum) & she used to say App koo itnee saree places kaa kasay pata hayy , abb kesay batainn kay kesay paata hay :-#

Than came the kids & visited lot of kids kinda places but these boys a real lahore's & love traditional food

The only thing I noticed in this journey is the decline of quality & service
