As far as I am aware, there aren't any EV recharge points in Lahore or the entire country for that matter.

My next car wil be EV, whenever and whoever launches it here. I am bored of petrol cars, but have no option of EV.

There is also a BMW EV charging point in the basement parking of Dolmen Mall, Clifton, Karachi. Not seen such a facility anywhere else. A home charging device is the only solution if bringing an EV to Pakistan.

There is an EV charging point in emporium mall lahore as well as packages mall lahore of bmw company.

So far not seen anyone use it. But I go once a week, maybe someone uses it during the days I don't go.

I doubt an all electric vehicle will prove to be a success here. Plug-in hybrids, on the other hand, are a different story.

And with the decent discovery of massive oil reserves near Karachi, I don't think Pakistan is going electric anytime soon, whether you or the environment like it or not!

Thank you Faizan.I was looking for my BMW i8.There are other options for petrol if not electric.How much is it to re-charge it?Even in western countries it's in the shopping malls but also a separate electric charging pump at petrol stations.It's picking up in these countries.Is there any other place for EV re-charging in Lahore?Liberty Market,Barket Market,DHA main market?In Karachi it's in Dolmen Mall.It can be installed in Lucky One mall.Other people from other cities can contribute as well with the pricing.If a guy Talal is here who reviewed BMWi8 on youtube,do you know any other place for electric re-charging apart from Emporium Mall & Packages Mall basement and what is pricing?

Mian Mansha's Emporium has the facility for EV plug in re-charging.How much is it does anyone know?Home recharging takes a long time and given the electricity fluctuation is a risky business.Mian Mansha introduced Hynduai cars with nishat collaboration.There is Hynduai car at the ground floor of Emporium Mall.Is Hynduai Kona available in Pakistan?This concept in Pakistan will pick up as well when the EV cars will be more affordable.
