@Xulfiqar that means i should stick to it? No need of topping up or anything else?? And should i wait for the next 1000kms to change the oil which is its recommended time span, or should i go for an oil change now ?
how come? aint it will be till 2nd dot Nd also explain plz when engine oil gets old in 1krfe why it shows disapearing oil on dipsstick
I cannot quite comprehend your question
my first question is how come in above picture oil is perfectly fine as it consumed some oil it should be at 2nd dot i mean full mark???
Because it's above lower limit that's why it's perfectly fine
every engine burns some amount of oil - its perfectly normal.
and its perfectly ok to have the oil level between the min and max marks.
its not an expensive mineral oil meant for 3500-4000km change maxdont topdrain and get new at 4000 max
ive experimented alot with 1krfe with different oils the best performance i got is from 0w 20 worst is 10w 40 vehicle litreally became donkey
Yes i changed the oil on 4000kmsAnd planning to keep this figure as a drain interval for the upcoming oil changes. Thanks for the feedback
Havoline 10w30 is synthetic or semi synthetic?
Its mineral based oil.
But its label say its API SN, Group 5
Mineral based but blended
Why thereis huge price difference between total and havoline 5w30 fully synthetic oil. At local shop here havoline 4litre was 4200 and total 5w30 was 3400 for 4litres
Total is locally made, havoline is imported. Just get total, there's no difference.

Okay. It's just I thought since total and parco have a distribution agreement, they must be making it here. My bad.
I believe its packed in Pakistan, still doesnt matter. Its good product.
Its API-SN but not Group 5. Its Ilsac GF-5 rating.
