AOA PakWheelers, mere pas altis 1.6 2016 model hai.. gari 40000km chal gai hai.. abi tak main toyota ka recommended engine oil use kr raha tha (5w-30)..engine oil b regular intervels mein change karwata hon.. kindly ap log mujhe suggest karein kia mujhe liqui moly ka engine oil use krna chahye? ya koi or best engine oil jo ap log recommend karein.. 40000km chalne k baad kis viscosity ka engine oil best rahe ga. or agar mein engine oil kisi or company ka use karon tou kia us se pehle mjhe engine flush use krna chahye? please mujhe guide kijiye.. shukriya

Use any brand oil... Doesn,t matter. But grade shall be 5w or 10w at most. Never use 15w or 20w & u'll never ever face any problems! Enjoy!

Bro, if you want best for bucks, go for Total Quartz 9000 Future series 5w-30, and change it along with good quality, genuine, OEM oil filter or Leppon / wix Oil filter for Altis 1.6 2016 model (which lasts at least 5,000 Kms), after every 5,000 Kms.

Otherwise, you can also look for Fully Synthetic oils by Liqui Moly, Amsoil, Valvoline, Mobil 1, or any other premium brand, and change them along with best quality genuine, OEM, premium oil filter by Toyota, after every 10,000 Kms (ensure that oil filter does lasts at least 10,000 Kms).

In both cases; oil grade must be 5w-30 (do not change it), 100% fully synthetic, with API ratings SN / SN Plus / RC and / or ILSAC GF-5, and genuine and original.

Of course 5w-30! No need to switch grade unless / until you face any type of problem (oil consumption / reduction, etc.)

Even 10w (i.e. 10w-30) would be thick for its engine at this stage (40K Kms odo reading on 03 years old engine / model is nothing).

I think, they bring no harm, especially with new engines. Some even say to go for engine flush before every oil change (however, I consider it as a waste of resources / money, with every oil change).

Then I think, chances of seals leaks might increase. The more is the odo reading, the more are the chances of leakages from the seals, after using engine flush.

I think you have been miss guided here.
Engine flush removes sludge build up from engine, So using it in an older engine might increase the chance of leaks as thick oils in old engines build up sludge to reduce leakage.
Please correct me if I have said anything incorrect.

Salam... I am buyed a corolla altis 1.6 2012 its 98000 kms driven... I changed iys oil 20w50.after 2000 km drive oil reduced to 2 litter from 4 litter... However there is no smoke from engine. No heatup. Mechanic saying may b you got fake engine oil... What you recomend

I dont believe the mechanic. Must be somethibg wrong in engine or some leakage. Put 2 litres again (any 20w50 oil) and see if ut gets reduced again.
Check for any leakage drops under car.

Keep using the same brand of oil from Toyota. If you buy oil from open market chances are that you will buy substandard oil and that will ruin your engine.

Shoaib bhai now it's reducing less... Still no leakage, no sound change, no heatup .. All normal. But still reducing atleast half lit before each change
