I have checked all oils of Toyota
20w50 petron in my gli, I would choose LM20w50 over it at any time.
10w30 petron plus and Taglon 5w50
Not satisfied with any of them, that's like comparing Mehran with Grande
.
Taglon in silver packing was blended by mobil askari pakistan.
There is no specification of taglon anywhere, not on website, and even toyota doesn't have that, like no flashpoint no and nothing.
Do you really believe its SN grade oil?
Oil shouldn't have sediments of any type while taglon was giving me sedimentation or small solid beads like materials.
There is no availability of taglon on Toyota taiwan website.
Yes, the oil comes out as water and of brownish black color at 5k kms. I compared my 5000kms use oil filter on taglon with @makhdoom123 liqui moly 5w40 6500kms used oil filter, and believe me it was in way better condition than mine; Furthermore, Liqui Moly has been tested to temperatures like 1000 degree celcius, and engine temperature stays between 90-100 degrees.
I'm not satisfied with taglon so I prefered to move on as its not me, I have to use my car for 5-6 years InshaAllah.
My car is smoother and way less noisier on LM 5w40.
Now, that's not me saying, my friends even says that even at 2k rpm there is almost no sound of engine. I will drain first oil at 8k kms and will show you pictures of oil/oil filter.
After that, will go for 10k intervals.
I have poured 3.9L LM 5w40 and 300ml of ceratec in my car. 300ml of ceratec treats 5L oil so you can pour it all in 2zrfe, but for 2nzfe you need to pour 200ml, and act accordingly on smaller engines.
In the end, just to help you guys
Use taglon if you want warranty.
Use liquimoly if you don't want it
