Dear. I have recently bought a passo which is 2013 model almost 1lac km driven. As far as engine health is concerned,it is fine.As the car is new, doesnt know its history of oil change.Would you recommend 5w30 for it as well??
Toyota says, you may pour in 5w30 if 0w20 is not available, but switch immediately to 0w20 at next oil change.

Here is the confusion now. Some say 5w30, and some favor 0w20, which one should i go for to be on the safe side. As i have recently bought this car 3 days ago and dont know about its oil history. Its 1lac km done.
Also give your opinion regarding an engine flush prior to oil change. Should i go for it or not??

you said engine is in decent condition, if so stick to what Toyota says. 5w30 and 0w20 are pretty close anyway, but since your engine isn't trash, use the recommended oil grade.
I m looking forward to go with 5/30. Any idea of the quantity i should pour in? P.s any experience with it of any brand??
