Best engine oil for Toyota Vitz?

in my experience its the best and most suited oil for vitz. fixed knocking issue in my vitz drastically.

I purchase a Vitz 2014 mode almost 64k km driven and I put 0w-20 original made in Japan tin pack engine oil but as I turn car on i feel enough engine vibration on idle mode or when I suppose to shift gear from P to D or D to R once I accelerate it there is no vibration at all very smooth drive. Luckily I find the oil change history of that car having oil change history receipt in a dashboard and there was mention that for around 4 time guy use Total9000 and then after it Total5000. So isn’t that reason I am having engine vibration. Shall I drain it as it cost me 4300 and if yes then what viscosity shall I use. Positive feedback highly appreciate

Bro, I would sincerely suggest to go for 5w-30, API SN / SN Plus / RC, ILSAC GF-5, fully synthetic engine oil from some reputed brand, and it must be 100% genuine and original. If you want best for bucks, go for Total Quartz 9000 Future series, and change oil along with genuine, OEM Oil filter, after every 5,000 Kms, otherwise, Toyota is also good.

I am using 5w 30 but some one said since the car is around 9 years old so thinner oil is good for old cars.

If you are using 5w-30 and is working absolutely fine in your ride, the engine is in good health, you must stick to 5w-30 and continue using it.

No need to khwaam khwaa go for thick oil.

Remember, OEM recommended oil grade is best suited for the car. When you switch from extremely thick to extremely thin and vice versa, without any logic, you mess up with the engine. Even if switching, that must be within OEM recommendations. Otherwise, Kaam na b kharab Hona hua to ho jye GA.

The guy who said that car is 9 years old and thick oil be poured in it, just ask him on which logical grounds and reasons he is saying it? Is he the engine manufacturer or designer? Does he know engine better than the OEM. Just ask him to give satisfactory answer, based on logic.

If the engine is healthy then stick to the OEM recommended Engine Oil Viscosity always start from the lowest.

sorry fornthe late response as quite busy.
i will stick to the 5w30 toyota genuile oil as i used before.
secondly today i noticed the broken part of trunk left side. Please see attached picture and suggest how to solve the issue or if this part would be available in the market.

Regrading that plastic thing breaking up, I think good quality adhesive / sealing material may help, like Elfi, etc. You may also try it as DIY, otherwise, experts are there in market. You can also try looking for this part in market.

And regarding engine oil, I would personally recommend Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30. LM is also good. Rest, your choice!

what is the price of quartz 9000 future series 5w30 and the gallon is 4L or what? Is it availabke everywhere easily or have particular places in the city...
