Recommended oil grades for 3rd Gen 1st facelift are 0w-20, 5w-20, 5w-30
Use fully synthetic oils.

Remember toyota Indus motor doesn't sale the 0w20 or 5w30 officially on their dealerships. All tin pack toyota oil is imported from either japan or thiland that's why it's not enlisted in Indus motor website.

yeah exactly so no one care about its price and availability you may find different prices at different shops or it may disappear from market for temporary period , so logically it is also not an ideal option.

A good doctor always give the medicine which is easily available in market on reasonable price, i never heard the brands like kendall, valvoline or ams before.

it is imported from Thailand or Singapore, i have forgotten the name of the country. My car previous owner used to visit official Toyota Aabpara Islamabad, on first visit they (toyota) poured petron 20-50 in vitz, on my advise owner visited again and requested them to change oil since it does not suit to 30k driven vitz then official toyota crew put in taglon 5w-50. I bought that car after 10K drive of previous owner and started using Total 5w30 and I feel alot difference in drive, sound and cold start performance of engine vs toyota taglon. The other great advantage is you can find this oil from any distributor/ shop or total pump in almost all cities....easy access to it anywhere.

WaAlaikumSalam janab. Alhamdulillah i am fine.
0w20, fully synthetic.
Kendall, LiquiMoly, Meguin, Mobil1, Valvoline, Totachi.
Any one u can find.
OEM recommended are 0w20, 5w20, 5w30,
But most advisable is 0w20 for vitz 2015 1krfe.
Keep check on following ratings while u purchase.
API SN or SN+ / RC (Resource Conserving) , ILSAC GF-5, minimum.
This new 1krfe has many things changed and updated from previous 1krfe.

Only if your engine is in fine condition.

Make sure you are using the fully synthetic API SN version of Helix ultra.

There is a normal 5w30 as well which isn't fully synthetic and not api sn.

Shell helix ultra 5w30. API SN. That is the correct one

The other 5w30 is not named helix ultra and API SN is also not written on its front.
