What's the price of LIQUIMOLY & mobil 1 oils and from where can one buy these in Lahore?

for new gli if you ask for the "best oil" then i will say Mobil 1 0W-40 API SN, this particular oil is in the top two-three best performing oils in the worlds and is suitable for gli though it doesnt need this much advance oil. i am using it in our 148,000km driven gli and running like a charm, really good throttle response and exceptional fuel economy. it costs just over 5000rs for 4 litres.

you can get mobil 1 oils from authorised store near DHA entrance main boulevard or try filter house,

i remember there is a liqui moly distributor somewhere on ferozepur road

7000km, with oem but japanese toyota oil filter not thai, i change oil and filter together

Depends on the car
Technically this very oil is good for 15000 miles/25000km but that's with Mercedes and Porsches with very large oil capacities and special filters

In a regular 4 cylinder Toyota with less than 4 litre oil capacity 7000km is a safe interval

Shopkeeper says you can use this oil in Corolla for 8000km or even 10,000 km of you do a lot of highway driving

Also important that oil filter can support the km... Worth putting a genuine oil filter if changing oil above 5000km.

no sir. because here were have only zic a+ which is 5w-20. But its ILSAC GF-5.
the TSB link says that it has to be ILSAC GF-4. I don't think we have such oil here in pakistan.

At the time the TSB was released, ILSAC GF-4 was the latest available standard; GF-5 was made available in 2010. They would have recommended GF-5 if it was available back then.

Not really. Modern 20 weight oils are rated for above 40C weather.

If you are referring to the Indus manual, it is giving the wrong range for 5w-30 and 10w-30. They are the same viscocity at operating temperatures. At low ambient temperatures, the 10w will flow worse than the 5w, causing more wear and tear during cold starting.

yeah man even i was thinking the same. well 10w30 is also not gonna do him much harm though.
