Best fuel consumption of 1300cc category?

guys im planning to buy a car with 1.3 litre engine....wat do u think is the best option money wise and consumption wise......currently i hav a 1.6GLi auto which is giving me abt 9km/litre...so planning to sell it....in 1.3 category which 1 is the best

2. corolla
3. lancer

how much does a city give in a litre??

Dear Brother,

I have been using NISSAN SUNNY 1.3 ( Japanese Version ) for the last 4 months. Its price is Rs. 11,25,000. It is a little more expensive as compared to Corolla, City and Mitsubishi. But let me assure you that you can’t get better “fuel average”, "luxury", "capacity", "durability", "road-grip" and “looks” in any car other than NISSAN SUNNY 2005.

Once again, Nissan Sunny is so-called expensive car but in my view, it simply “WORTH” that. If you need any more information about the same car, please let me know.

I remember when I had a 2000 1.3 Corolla back in 2002 it used to give between 12/13km per litre but I use to drive the hell out of it.

thanks bro Nasir_Zaidi....yar i agree sunny is a really cool car......i had the 1.0 JX 93 model sum time back and it was a killer at that time.....but tell me the mileage/litre that sunny gives... is it better then city???...cuz i hav heard hat city gives 20-22km/litre...is it true?

mileage is 55,000, minor scratches touch ups...done by the previous owner....it is a karachi registration.....every thing stock.....nothing much abt the stereo....engine in superb condition..... maintained by toyota capital....u can contact me after 6:00pm cell# 0333 5165793

you cannot find a best fuel cosumtion car than new honda city 1.3 DSI.I personally own this car and the average this car gives is amazing . i don`t know the exact kms its giving in 1 litre

Honda city is more fuel efficient than other cars in 1.3L category, reason being aerodynamic shape (though i don't like it), and its lighter body.

just wanna add a little comment, the effect of drag is more than s/w on A/c in terms of fuel efficiency, more noticeable at higher speeds.

Funny..13 replies and only one person actually answered the question. I think City is the best fuel economy wise, but some claims are prett outrageous...like 20 mpg etc...lets hope people who own city and 1.3 xli will give their input too.

I am sorry for replying late. My Nissan Sunny 1.3 gives me 15 km/litre and in any case, not less than 14 km/litre (with A.C).

Dear Buyer:
I had personally used Lancer and Yaris of 1300 cc engine and both are weak and not strong especially if you are going to drive on hilly areas. I recommend to go for 1500 - 1600 cc of any type. Good luck.

I have city model 2005 and corrola 2017 and trust me still city is the best in mileage and in comfort i dont know about lancer but city is the best
