Best Fuel-Efficient Car in Pakistan?

Hello everyone,
I am planning to buy a car and fuel average is my top priority because petrol prices are going up every month. I am a bit confused between hybrid options and small engine hatchbacks. Can anyone here share their personal experience about which car gives the best fuel economy in Pakistan, and is also reliable for daily use?

People will usually try to steer you away from hybrids because they are worried about the batteries needing anything and that would basically destroy any kind of savings you had in mind. Why don't you start us with your budget and then we'll suggest something accordingly. My favorite hybrid at the moment is probably the Note E from Nissan since it only uses the engine as a generator and drives very smooth and quick. However, the best way to avoid any worries would be to buy something newer like a Corolla cross/HRV hybrid with a warranty and keep driving until that is over.

Look no other than Aqua or Corolla Cross.

I mean they are not wrong, batteries life degrade over time with usage or not eventually needing to replace. You can extend their life as much as possible to last more than 300k kms by doing inverter coolant flushes and battery cooling fan and duct cleaning.

Also don't forget brake fluid flushes, number 1 reason for brake master cylinder going out for negligence maintenance.

Would you say that age plays a big role in this? It become a little tricky because milage wise you could take 10 years to rack up 300k km or much less. The general consensus that I hear here is that after 10 years the battery may die at any point (but this consensus comes from people that often forego the fan and duct cleaning maintenance)
