Compared to last year the prices of AC's have gone up significantly. I was surprised to learn the price of 1.5 ton Gree... is like 80-90 thousand, different models.

Ended up buying a 1.5 ton Electrolux for 70k, lets see how long it survives... it was a replacement of a non-inverter type Haier that lasted for 10 years. Another inverter that I am using is that of Sharp (be it a car or anything less, out of market cheeze ka maza aur hee hai this is its 3rd season and so far it is working flawlessly.

For this much big room size you need at least 1.5TR ac unit.
As your room height is 1 ft extra than the normal size, it is highly advised to fix the indoor unit as low as possible considering the aesthetics of the room, this way ac unit will have to work less to make environment comfortable at the floor height.
Don't use ceiling fan, if however you notice the amps drawn are not getting down then operate the fan (the one in close proximity to the indoor unit) but at a very slow speed, this will disturb the hot air blanket right above the indoor unit thereby cooling the intake temperature sensor placed above the evaporator and the amps drawn will quickly get down.

Btw direct sun exposure is very less in my room and there is same room at first floor right above my room.so my roof dnt get heated too much as there is no exposure to sun.i agree that its a realy wide room.could u pls tell me at which height i should place my indoor.i told u my roof is at 12 ft height

The model u mentioned is super tropical non inverter series.i checked on panasonic website.it doesnt have inverter

Mitsubishi has already left the ac industry in 2016 after they suffered heavy losses in their nuclear technology plants and emission scandal in cars .

In Pakistan, due to electricity issues like Voltage fluctuation, unstable supply, it is suggested to keep in mind the Support and Service After Sales.
Very important factor so if u have average budget, then i will suggest you to go for brand "Haier" in 1.5 ton or 2.0 ton

I have personally expereince it and found quiet, cool and outstanding performance

Well I asked the official Mitsubishi Facebook page and they told me that they are no longer making ac . They are making some parts like compressor and few other things that are then fitted in other brand ac but they themselves have already stopped making Mitsubishi ac .

Hows panasonic after service reputation?

I have not seen Panasonic service centre in Karachi.It is my suggestion to go for common brands such as Haier, Mitsubishi so even if u need service after sales then you will have options like:

1. To repair from Authorized service centre
2. You can repair from any good a/c shop near your house locality
3. You could easily find genuine or at least compatible A/C spare parts(Some brands have good a/c but their spare parts are not easily available so their cost of repair is very high)

Bu Haier, Mitsubishi, orient, every 2nd a/C wala understands it and easily repair without any issue..

I apologise for my very late reply. Wattage is written somewhere on the AC. Look at it. An inverter AC basically works like this:
You turn the temperature to 26* C. The compressor will run at full power and chill the room untill it gets +-26*C, then the compressor goes into low power consumption.

Buy Kenwood eglow series which shall cost you 70k. After sales services is quick in case of issues far better than Gree. Under 60k, go for inveter-eglow series 1.5 ton 1813s
