I am 2 years old user of Panasonic CU/CS-18PKF super tropical Inverter Cool only model. It is among the only few inverters that still deploy R22 gas instead of R410-A. Reason could be higher efficiency of R22 over R410A on extremely higher ambient temps like in excess of 50C as this model is UAE series.
Unfortunately, AC had an issue it would slow down after achieving requested temp and never kicks back to higher amperes when heat leak in occured with time or opening and closing of room door. This issue was raised to Panasonic Pakistan in Lahore through dealer and they fixed it by changing PCB.
Since the fix, I am extremely satisfied with above par cooling it provides vent temps in max heat days these days still yield to 5c on peak heat times in a day. Power usage is great too although here it is a little handicapped due to R22 gas use. R410A on lower speeds has higher efficiency than R22 compared to R22 being more efficient in extreme temperature curves.
Over all the air flow of unit is outstanding with 5 speed fan and outer is huge. Its exactly a 2 ton AC sized outer with blue fins despite its a 1.5 ton. Max BTU are 22,200 BTU which makes it a 1.9 ton cooling machine... Basically i bought it after comparing it to Daikin Mitsubishi and other available models. I had budget to buy any of these and decided for the Super tropical status and horse power it had. I needed savings but strong cooling was top priority. Moreoever, it turned out All daikin mitsubishi and even LG/Samsung available models in market were listed as Old/discontinued models of their respective brands. But the Panasonic one was an ongoing model so there I went for it strongly.
