Best Mechanic for Hilux 3.0 Turbocharger issues?

Aoa members..

hearing a whistling/whining noise from my turbocharger in my 2008 Toyota Hilux 3.0 (1KD FTV) .. it happens when I accelerate/rev the engine above 2000rpm..

what could be the issue ?

Also can someone recommend a good mechanic who can diagnose and repair this.. as this sounds like an expensive job as per google..

Turbos have a whistling noise, do check some videos to assess if it is an issue or the normal turbo whistle.

How much does it cost approximately.. kabuli and new

Don't go for kabuli.
Get a new one of Turbo Maxx company turbo with motor.
It costs around 90-105 k

Is it whistle or whine? Has there been a sudden change in sound or gradual? Any loss in power?
Do not go for turbo replacement without proper diagnosis. People here love to slap new parts without any diagnosis.
I could be something as simple as a loose clamp.

its a whine.. almost as loud as the engine some times... no loss in power.. no oil residue in the tail pipe...

100% - have had personal experience where i was advised to change the Turbo by 1-2 mechanics and it was only a loose connection.
