May be this feels a bit stupid but after looking at a proper civic/accord's engine bay, the corolla's power house compartment feels funny, with the camry its exactly the same, all nud3 near the bumper and headlight portion, look at the holes in the chassis.

No offense, but this isn't digestible.

May be this feels a bit stupid but after looking at a proper civic/accord's engine bay, the corolla's power house compartment feels funny, with the camry its exactly the same, all nud3 near the bumper and headlight portion, look at the holes in the chassis.

These are the strip off the local dealer do to reduce their import cost and to maximize profits on sale. The toyotas being the best seller, no one among buyer cares. What buyer cares is that it will sell quick, even before buying the car.

BTW the toyota's engine room is equally organized as that of Honda. The radiator fans are in place facing the radiator core, the firewall is between the two cabins, the front wheel drive cars have horizontally mounted motors and so on.

All I wanted to say was there should be a little fu.cking difference between the finishing of a corolla and a camry.

As told earlier Toyota is super seller hence no one cares for the small items when buying. Though it adds much to the details if installed. All dealers 3rd world countries will tend to maximize their profits no matter how much it takes. Camry is just like any other ordinary car in this market so it's not required to make it fancy.

For the later lines, I would say it's a PW trend that is being continued from generations

GTI is much more faster/ expensive as well as much better built ( Jetta comes from VW Mexico while GTI is only manufactured in Wolfs burg Germany)(H)

haha i know actually the last pic was taken at the denters workshop.. i had gotten the car that day you can even see the denter polishing the car from inside
