Need Advice, From where i can source the best parts for the engine and which parts to opt for as my mechanic said go for japanese parts art pistons and npr rings as the original suzuki are very expensive.
Acutally my car is reducing engine oil and giving black smoke black dry smoke in the silencer as well no greasy oil and no blue smoke no smoke even on the first start up, car is total with original engine as we bought it in 2007 and on the odo meter it is 118k. Earlier it used to reduce oil like a quarter after 3k now after 1800km the oil is reduced .75liter in the engine. There are no weird sound in the engine.
I get it checked from some random mechanic he said that just change the rings it will be fine. but my mechanic is insisting on an engine overhaul because he said pistons will be loose as well and if i will replace only rings after sometime you will come and say mean biggin is giving noice etc etc.
Furthermore he said i will open the engine and will let you know. I am also mentioning the cost he said for overhaul.
Moverover i just got the carburetor overhaul from a person but my mechanic is saying he will overhaul the carburator again as car is consuming petrol more.
Mechanic Labour: 10000 for engine overhaul.
Mechanic Labour for Carb Service: 2000
Kharadiya as per mechanic : 7000
Parts Approx: 350000 (will let me know the final parts after opening)
Plus the inner excel is giving noice please let me know which one to opt for as in the market mostly are chinese i want to go for a good japanese but new are hell expensive and kabli are not sure whether they are repaired or not and price is also like 5k. Please suggest.
