Statrting this thread just to share contact info of electricians, meter repair guys, mechanics, suspension works, body works etc etc in Karchi.

Some of them have been tested by many here as well as me also. so here it goes.

Hafiz Jee - Meter Repair at Magazine lane Saddar Karachi.

Good Shop with a variety and big range for automotive related liquid, polishes, perfumes, etc etc

Fuel Tank repair and restore: Only one guy in magazine lane

Shop for SOGO/changhan and related model parts only.

Windscreen buff.......this shop does it well. A local shop at patel para does wonder to windscreen which are blind like spider web. Good for those cars whose windscreens are expensive or not available easily. (mind it it only removes jaal and scratches. deep marks like wiper marks are not removed)

This is not a normal seat cushion repair guy.....this guy makes seats and interior of old cars close to original, takes time, charges according to his work. does new cars also but takes time. An specialist.

Salam all. Although I am a long time PakWheels member, haven't joined a discussion for some time. I request your valuable guidance regarding a good mechanic in Karachi for overhauling/rebuilding my 1KZ-TE Prado engine. The location and contact information will be greatly appreciated. I know there are gurus here like @Xulfiqar . My engine is first time overhaul and therefore block in good condition. Should I go for .50 pistons or sleeves? I value your recommendation.

Hello Akbar Khan Sab. Don't know about Karachi, but you can contact a few decent mechanics in the neighboring city Hyderabad. I can recommend a few who're well versed with this engine.

I have recently bought a charade 86, swapped with D-16,
Now the guy who had the car, wrapped the rims, because there were some brake dust and marks on it.
I want to have it painted metallic black. Bake paint. Aik dafa kaam wala scene. Any rough idea kiya cost paregi ?

Second the previous owner told me that the RPM Coil burns. So I want to have it fixed. Hafiz Jee, ke paas gaari leke jaa sakte hain ?

Ya sirf meter khulwa ke leke jaana parega ?

for rims, goto ghareeb abad marker, there are shops who repair and paint rims. they can give proper estimate.

Any one who would do good work on jdm car meter? My vitz has a indicator/hazard hyper flashing problem and its control system is electronic and built into instrument cluster, i went to toyota eastern and they said that they themselves get the meters repaired from outside, the guy kept saying that shops are at khalid bin waleed and tariq road but gave no specifics.

i have a 2006 santro club and its engine is desperately asking for an overhaul.

kindly suggest me an expert mechanic in karachi who must have all latest and necessary gadgets to examine the car thoroughly esp engine compression & sensor calibration along with good knowledge and skills of overhauling.

i am sick and tired of running and showing car to different mechanics just to find a skilled and reliable person but unfortunately haven't succeed to find any one till yet. Please help me

I had an excellent experience with Danish Autos (opposite Jail Road). Bashir bhai is the owner and a very honest person. Not sure about the latest gadgets though.

sir @kameetaha the baloch guy is located at Rimpa Plaza his name is Omer 0345 2078829 - from 12 pm to 7 pm. no shop but a stall over side walk outside MCB.

Sir can this guy fix door alignment ? Got door hinge repaired but hardly after a month door became misaligned again.
