Best Places for Honeymoon in January?

Assalam o Alaikum Everyone.

I am seeking advice for available places to visit for honeymoon in the month of Januray, first week of January 2018 may be. I know its extreme winter season but I am fishing for ideas (Other than Galiyaat/Murree)

If budget is not a problem then go to Isb-Gilgit by air and stay in Hunza.. You'll love your time over there..

Yes Kashmir can be one of the options..
In Hunza, u can visit Karimabad, Altif & Baltit Forts, Attabad Lake, Passu etc..

I would suggest to go to Skardu, as you dont have to travel much. You just need to spend time with your better half in a relax and peaceful environment.

flights will be an issue for Gilgit and Skardu during your trip time and road transport wont be good idea for a honeymoon.. if you dont prefer Galiyat then i would suggest to opt Malam Jabba as its more beautiful in Snow or you can also think to travel towards Kashmir for banjoosa, tolipeer and surrounding places..

I had my honeymoon in January too couple of years ago We spent one night in Balakot, then 2 nights in Shogran (during which we went bit up towards Siri. Though, it's quite difficult to reach there in this season. People were hiking. From there we left for Kashmir. Stayed in Muzaffarabad. Then couple of nights at Jogran Resort (kutton). Jogran is a must visit place if you are going Kashmir and in this season, the peace and serenity this place have, you won't find it anywhere else, I guess During Kutton stay we had day trip to Shadra, Keran etc. From there we started our back journey. Had another night stay at Balakot and then left for KHI next morning. You can add Kel/ Arang Kel too if time/ budget allows. Our trip was arranged by a very good friend cum driver, who lives in Kiwai and it was amazing. It matters a lot who your driver is. I can say this because I have had solo trip after that and didn't enjoy it as much due to several planning hiccups.

can you give an idea how cold the weather was in January in Kashmir specially in Kutton and were electric heaters working in rooms in Jagran resort? pls also advise on road condition from snow point of view, can we go on our cars around end Dec? this is my favorite place in summer but i havent been there in Winter so just thinking if we can visit there with family and kids in end of Dec? thx.

It's seriously cold. You may get snowfall around Mid-Jan too. Jogran is very well-maintained. There were electric heaters even in bath room too I am not sure about the road condition. We hired a jeep all along. If you visit this place often then you may have better idea about the road. If roads are carpeted then it may not be an issue.

I am also visiting Murree, Muzafarrabad, Shogran and surroundings for Honeymoon in January. Can anybody suggest reasonable hotels in around 5k to 8k per night?

5K-8K is very good budget. More than good IMO. Though, reasonable is subjective and may vary person to person. But I stayed in Lalazar hotel in Shogran and Jogran Resort in Kutton and both cost around 2.5K/ night, both hotels were reasonable for me. This is for single room with double bed. I hope that clarifies. Thanks
