i have to go to CMH rawalakot on 20th May.. can any one suggest me best route for this..1) islamabad-kahota-azad patan-rawalakot2) isb, Murree, rawalakot via kohala bridge
last year i take azad patan road but condition was hell..kindly suggest.

i have been to rawalakot many time during the last year...and since i live in dha phase 02 for me the route 01 you stated to go via kahuta has suited me always...and roads were fine too...never been through murree...so i cant say abt that option
call me bias but i would prefer route 01
route 1 is the short one. around 3 to 3.5 hours from Rawalpindiroute 2 will pass from Arja (Bagh) which takes more time.
Brother route 1 is first choice.Hardly 3 to 4 hours you reached at rawalakot.
Route 2 is lengthy.
Thanks for your comments. i went there last year via route 1.. but road condition was very bad.. land sliding etc.. any update for recent road condition??
and by the way last year while coming back from rawalakot i took via murree route.. took me more time to reach isb but road was better
Assalam-o-Alaikum Brother road is clear and under construction.
Me also visited three weeks ago.
Sliding problem in hilly area during winter, not in summer.
Thank You all.. I just came back to ISB from Rawalakot. . Road was so so.. under construction and hopefully complete in next 6 7 months.. also visited banjosa and toli peer .. lovely places.. must visit.. but roads was very bad till toli peer.
Can you please advise me the route from Islamabad for Bagh? I have never been there previously.
Khanna pul to kotli sattian to bagh.Islamabad to murree to kohala to dhirkot to bagh. 2nd is better
