Best Spark Plugs for swift 2011

Hi There,

I have been reading at pakwheels and elsewhere aswell that mileage of Suzuki swift depends alot on it's spark plugs. I have also read at many places that genuine spark plugs are the best. Can anyone suggest the best spark plugs if the car is not having the genuine one's and from where in Rawalpindi can i buy them. Thanks

Use the one recommended in service manual

look in your manual for the model number. If you cant find the exact model google for equivalent in another brand e.g. denso.

Other than size of the plug the heat rating is also important.

I think your car comes with iridium plugs. They last for like 1 lac+ km and you dont have to adjust the gap.

Swift does not comes with iridium plugs.

it is a myth. as far as my personal experience you won't feel a difference in mileage if all the types of plugs are replaced in time they are designed for. i change copper based plugs after 15 20 thousand kms. iridiums though are changed after 50 60 thousand.

Actually I don't think it'll make a difference confused about replacing with iridium plugs and I saw on the internet that iridium plugs were introduced in 1994

Yes. Definitely as engine is still same M13A.

Iridium plugs just last longers and no need to clean . Just install and replace after 60,000 kms..

Copper plugs needs cleaning and replacement after 25,000 kms
