Hi guys i'm trying my best to fully restore a Landcruiser LJ78.
So far i've replaced the 2.4 LT turbo engine with a 1kz-te.
The suspension has been replaced with original toyota coils and shocks that cost me roughly 90k in total but the ride is still very rough and not enjoyable on the roads here.
Before someone thinks this is a suspension problem everything under the chasis has been replaced regarding suspension (from tie rods to all bushes to foundation to bearings to disc breaks etc.)
The original toyota shocks might be very tough and will last long but the ride is just horrible.
Wondering if anyone has any recomendation for a suspension upgarde for this car?
I've heard ironman comfort and ARB OME are both too rough on the road and will only make it worse.
I'm thinking of going for some electronic adjustable 9 stage suspension such as rancho 9000, profender, etc.?
I believe these are called coil overs.
If anyone has any leads or has successfully upgraded their LJ 78 landcruiser's suspension would love to hear from you!
