No Dear i have not visited this lake. the nearest road is perhaps the Shonter valley road yaar cannot tell exactly the trekking time but it is steep trekking route.Its more vertical trek than a horizontal one. Not too far from the nearest road distance is half the distance of dusipatsar from nearest road. Brother this is the maximum information i can give to you.

Brothers! Last weekend I'd a hance to visit fabled Neelum valley. When I reached Sharda I'd asked the people about the Noori Nar top if it's been opened yet. I asked this especially as I'd seen on this forum that some brothers are planning a trip through Noori Nar top, I was told that untill now (June 7, 2008) no jeep has crossed from any side through Noori Nar top. I want to use this opportunity to inform the brothers to delay their program for another 2 weeks when it will be certsin that Noori Nar top is accessible through jeep. Will post more details about my trip with pictures soon.

Hassan Bhai I am very excited to hear that you have visited the Neelam Valley last week we also intend to visit the same area as you already know from earlier discussions. Would you please tell me that how far did you went in the Neelam Valley and how is the road condition and weather. Please also tell how did you traveled (mode of transportation) and where did you stay. Please also provide your Phone No. if possible so that we may talk and you help me in planning our tour more efficiently.

hi, i have been in that area for quite some time. My advice is do not move during rain and aviod taking risk in sliding areas. The vehicle must b a realiable one and try to use local peoples advice when its available. Any way have a nice adventure.

I have crossed noori nar this July .Un fortunately there was liitle snow . I think best time must be June .But for trekking the July is good .sadly this time rains came too early

do visit chitta katha lake...u will get local jeep from Kel to Domel then its a tough trek to lake (really Steep) better to hire a porter/guide or u may lost way....all the best
