A toothpaste has NO role in whitening of your teeth, the colour you see after brushing your teeth (without the plaque and debris) is the natural hue.
DO NOT try using hard tooth brush or forceful brushing becuase it wont help and ull just end up abrading your enamel(the outermost layer of the tooth on the crown).
Different people have different shades of enamel, ures might be off whitish.
If you are a smoker you might have staining on your teeth, that too if your a chronic one.
If you have a poor oral hygeine then you might have calculus deposits.
What i suggest is go consult a dentist and have ultaasonic scaling and polishing with abrasive fluoride paste done. You will surely feel the diff.
As far the tooth paste is concerned, use any tooth paste with fluoride in it but avoid dand manjan, medicam, english tooth pastes.
And above all try to maintain aa good oral hygeine as tooth is the only tissue in human body that cannot repair itself.
If you desprately want sparkling teeth then go for porcelain veneers.
