For city driving hybrid rocks but he doesn't want a hatch aqua and prius is a bit expensive or so... I don't have an experience of city Auto but I don't think 1.5 will be less fuel efficient than any other local car
Buy City/Altis for 20 lac and spare 5 lac for petrol. Still a better deal than spending 45 lacs just for a mileage.
Really yr
From City 1.3 Prosmatic to Altis 1.8 CVT ia a bridge too far for a salaried person.
That too on a car that looks like a cockroach
I will not recommend buying City Prosmatic as it is not fuel efficient, not comfortable and Aspire 1.5 PT will cost around 1.9mill. Since your concern is fuel average and want to buy automatic car then go for JDM car such as Prius if you have a budget of 2.4mil. If your budget is 1.9mil then go for Aqua. But if you want a sedan then you will have to go for a manual city 1.3 or Aspire 1.5 MT for fuel efficiency. My 2 months old Aspire 1.5 is giving 13km/l in Lahore driving. You will not get an average of more than 10km/l from local made automatic cars
How much can you save on petrol? If only fuel consumption is the case then its really not needed.
Spending 5 lakh more to save few thousand per year.
Bro when your city will do 5-6k km then mileage will increase surely and I think a prosmatec city 1.5 can give 12-13 in city but not sure and your 1.5 can give 14-15
Auto 1.5 City hardly will give 10-11 in City
Still better than my altis 1.6
just a suggestion, opt for Honda Grace Hybrid. It'll not only give you good fuel average, more goodies but also won't hurt your car's resale as that model will be launched at the end of 2018 so you car will be IN for the market.
That is why I suggested Manual City or Aqua
There is also option of Honda grace in jdm cars as well as axio
If he gets 2014 model then it's price is not that much.then even cockroach looks like a beautiful deer
Honda grace hybrid 2014 model he can already buy
I will take that if it is with 100% AC and mixed city traffic. Fuel economy is a consideration wrt City 1.3 Auto. Automatic Transmission and Sedan version are absolute must. I don't trust reconditioned cars as I am a layman wrt evaluating mechanical condition of a used car. Zero meter gives me peace of mind for 4/5 years.
In that case maybe consider City 1.3 Manual. Car is worth 1.52mill. You can have company fitted navi installed for extra 50k if you want.
Also have you considered Suzuki Ciaz? do check it out as well. go to the dealer and ask for test drive.
BTW where do you live?
