Best value for money Aspire 1.5 A/T vs Altis 1.6 A/T

I won't say much, except that most here are in favor of altis 1.6 so you should incline towards it, and you are under rating the 100 cc difference, also altis is a bit bigger in all dimensions so better grip, altis spares are cheaper than city's​ spares. And the navigation on city i think is from tracking world, which many people describe as"na ho tou behtar hota" aur city driving k liye altis is ideal woh nechay nahi lagti even with load . As far as city is concerned i think even 1.5ltr does not give ground breaking average, but it has a better transmission and resale should be better then altis kyun k uss ka facelift due hai,

Asked Suzuki multan motors .they said it is not possible to give test drive . Sadly I wanted to check it out but one of the guy here on pakwheels is giving his review so I am following it hopefully will help me to decide if I should buy this car

Altis 1.6 is definitely better but not convinced it's worth the premium of 225000 over Aspire 1.5

Bhai I have been following this thread and I myself have also been commenting to get Altis 1.6,1.8 etc. But is it worth all the pain and money?
See, suppose you don't change the car and continue using 1.3 Prosmatec. If you sell your car at around 14.5-15 lacs, and get Altis 1.6 at lets say 21 including registration WHT and invoice. You are adding 6 lacs from your pocket. Petrol rate today is 73.33, you get 8185 Litres of petrol, or 65,000 kms at an average of 8 km/L.
So if you don't spend these 6 lacs on an altis 1.6, you basically are getting distance of 65,000 kms using this amount. And considering that Altis or 1.5 Prosmatec wont give you more than 11-12, it is not worth spending and going through all the trouble to change your car.
In short, dont sell your 1.3 for getting 1.5/1.6. It's not worth it.

I think you need CNG kit. 2 options hybrid or CNG kit. Hybrid is unaffordable, cng + petrol may give great mileage.

You are perfectly right except for one fact. As I told earlier I have managed to sell 1.3 Prosmatic above original price [invoice+registration+Seat covers/mats +WHT 30,000 (refunfable)]

With 30,000 saving and excluding ASPIRE WHT (again refundable), I only need approximately Rs 85000 to upgrade from shitty 1.3 Prosmatic 2016 to more respectable ASPIRE 1.5 Prosmatic 2017 with hopefully better (even if not significantly better) mileage.

However you seem to be right regarding Altis 1.6 for which I need to come up with additional 315,000 approximately and that is the main purpose of my post.

Yes I have to wait 6 months and use my old decrepit car. But I can manage.

Go for Altis.
Do not go for Prius. That car is ugly and second the economics here dont favour one to own that car.
You cannot keep hybrids for more than 5 years as most of them have already completed half of their life by the time they land in Pakistan.
Getting more than 20kmpl looks fancy but the loss you will have to bear at the time you ll be selling your hybrid will be more than the amount of fuel it had saved.

Bro I own altis 1.6 ect but grip?? What sort of grip that car has??
Don't have an experience of a city yet but rolla don't have grip at higher speeds at all even on 120 you have to grip the steering with both hands otherwise you feel like you're losing your control as it starts swimming in the layers of air...
BTW 100cc bigger engine zarur hy but ect transmission bht bkws hy... Even if you floor the vehicle doesn't have a good response even at higher rpms.... And fuel consumption isn't good at all other gives me 7-8 with AC in city and 9 without AC and on Highway without AC 13-13.5... BTW city has been awarded as the most fuel efficient car by pakwheels so surely 1.5 prosmatec should have a better fuel economy than altis...
Rolla is comfortable even back seats are good for longer journeys but the driver feels tired because of softer suspension...
City also has same ground clearance as rolla so no problem with load on speed breakers... But city is a car to be driven in cities not in rural areas.. Rolla rocks in rural areas

How much your daily travel is ? Both within and outside city.. if that is not too much then 1-2km/l will not save you ton of money.. you can also consider Corolla Axio Hybrid and Corolla fielder hybrid.. it will surely be saving good amount in fuel each month, you need to increase the budget and good graded car. 21-24lacs you can get it.

I own Altis 1.6 2016 and also have City.. if you travel through large speed breakers, uneven road or road with potholes dont consider Honda City at all..

Also to be very very clear 5 speed prosmatec is sh*t compared to 4 speed ECT.. personal experience.. In ECT response is different based on how you push, if you cruise you will find it smooth as silk.. when you rev the engine then it gets all the power for you.. 1.6 is very quick when you floor the pedal. On the other hand in City there is always a jhatka when gear is changed and engine noise is very loud when you rev. This is my experience of 5 speed prosmatec by honda v/s 4 speed ECT by toyota.
