Best value for money Aspire 1.5 A/T vs Altis 1.6 A/T

Do you have an Aspire 1.5 Pros or 1.3 Pros?

1.3 Pros 2014, earlier we have city 2012, it is way better in economy and even in engine noise as you can always run manual car in high gear to to keep rpm 2-2.5k

How much is your daily travel ? Or in a month what no. Of kilometers you run your car ? In my case it is around 1200-1300kms/month, my approx fuel cost is 9.5k/month on Altis 1.6

Haven't driven a city yet but own an altis 1.6 and before I had eagle eye civic 1.6 prosmatec 2005
Sir you couldn't compare a 5 speed prosmatec with 4 speed ect.. Prosmatec and jhatka? Are you sure?
BTW I'm comparing two 1.6L cars and eagle eye Vti was he'll faster than this altis.. BTW civic Vti being prosmatec do 0-100 in 11 seconds if you use genuine plugs and genuine air filter and the genuine oil as like my was... And this altis takes quite long near 13 seconds and even when you floor prosmatec it feels like it is accelerating like a manual and rapidly whereas ect is hell slower even if you floor.... I don't think so aspire 1.5 prosmatec is slower than an ect because it has better body to weight ratio...
BTW it's all about personal perception
But altis 1.6 4 speed ect is hell like old technology and worse performance when compared to a Vti prosmatec 2005... Don't know about city but people say city has better acceleration than a Vti eagle eye but not sure

BTW you are the only one who's asking 4 speed ect is better than prosmatec...
1.3 city would be sluggish with prosmatec tranny but 1.5 wouldn't be...
And what about fuel economy broda
Altis anywhere near to city?
Or better?
Anyways I have a Toyota altis but missing my Eagle eye... Don't have experience of a city prosmatec

Bro I don't know about city prosmatec but I'm going towards city 1.3 Manual from altis ect
BTW before I had eagle eye Vti prosmatec and that was far better in terms of acceleration and performance... but fuel consumption was not so worst just similar to altis 8-9 km/L In city with and without AC a slight difference... But was fuel efficienct on Highway more than altis.. That car use to give me 15-16 on 110-120 whereas never got better than 13.5 km/L on altis....

Maybe the "jhatka" he is talking about is limited to the 1.3l auto? The 1.5 prosmatec was the variant offered worldwide and haven't seen or heard of any problems with that transmission.

Have heard City 1.5 manual doing 0-100 in around 10-10.5 secs, haven't tried on mine yet though. Prosmatec has slightly slower pick/acceleration so it doing 0-100 in 11 secs is a pretty safe bet I'd say like the older Civic as they have about the same body to weight ratio.

I own Altis 1.6 2016 and also have City.. if you travel through large speed breakers, uneven road or road with potholes dont consider Honda City at all..

Also to be very very clear 5 speed prosmatec is sh*t compared to 4 speed ECT.. personal experience.. In ECT response is different based on how you push, if you cruise you will find it smooth as silk.. when you rev the engine then it gets all the power for you.. 1.6 is very quick when you floor the pedal. On the other hand in City there is always a jhatka when gear is changed and engine noise is very loud when you rev. This is my experience of 5 speed prosmatec by honda v/s 4 speed ECT by toyota.

You should compare Altis 1.6 with Aspire 1.5. Or GLI Auto with City 1.3. Then you can give fair review

Hassan also had a city he will tell better and Z.u.m.a also have.. So the person who want to buy also owned a city before so he might be able to answer about the transmission...
BTW 1.6L and 1.3L cars both with auto tranny must have acceleration differences a clear one... But 1.5 I don't think so that it will be sluggish

Gli ect is nothing in front of city prosmatec 1.3 bro.... My czn has a gli auto and he always complaints that it's too much underpowered and with AC car feels like someone is pulling my car from behind

For gods sake 1.3 and 1.5 are different engines and it doesent take much common sense to realise that,but still...

I will be happy with 9 and 11 with and without AC respectively in mixed city traffic. Can someone conform? I will be grateful. Anyway Altis is also not giving significantly better average but 55 litre tank is a plus point.

I'm​ very sorry to have to say this as you are elder than me and i respect you, but sir a fact is a fact , grip can only be compared when both cars have same tires, and that said corolla has a wider wheel base so it is more stable on the road its height might deter the advantage but it will still be a solid one Thanks. yours truly,. Hahahahaha no bro I'm not elder hahahahaha I'm a young boy ... I appreciate your words bro.. You're quite right that the grip depends upon width of tyre and a bigger wheel base also makes it a solid one on road (Y)
I've no experience of city my brother but as everyone use to say city has better handling and better supporting suspension for the driver etc..
I own altis 1.6 2016 bro and it use to swim in air at motorway at 120-130 kmph... Don't know about city but it isn't a good solid car on road.. as I'm using Michelin tyres there wouldn't be an issue but still due to suspension but as city has supportive suspension so it might have better grip as my old eagle eye civic was better in terms of grip and handling but drive wasn't as good as this altis just because it has heavier steering wheel non Eps etc etc....

City ki stability and handling better than corolla. I have driven on 150-170 with 4 on board and 2 luggage bags without any issue.
