The guy who posted the ad goes by the name Muhammad Zahid Sarfaraz. He's selling a Toyota Surf 3.4 SSR.G 2002 Karachi registered and the vehicle is located in Jhang. I spoke to him on the phone for some time and told him i am in another city. He seemed ... ok. I paid 10k in advance ( wrong move i know, he asked for 100000 btw ) so he wouldn't sell the car till the pakwheels team did their inspection who were coming from Faisalabad. According to the ad, the surf is owned by an army officer and is the first owner which was enticing.
The original appointment was on Sat which the seller cancelled for some personal reason so the appointment was set for Mon morning. The guy wasn't available again and asked the PW team to set the time at 4pm even though it was decided previously that this was not a feasible time.
The location was not shared on whatsapp, the team were in touch with the seller who said his guy was on the way and would meet them in 15-20mins. They waited for more than an hour and the guy never came. The guy contacted the PW team 50 mins after they left Jhang for Faisalabad and blaming them that they were not cooperative.
