Day 06 Cntd?
By 1.30 when we were almost there, there was no energy left for observance. We were now at the other corner of Snow Lake, Hispar glacier starts here. It started to snow and we were feeling completely exhausted, even Tang had lost its appeal. There was an immense push from inside to stay still and just appreciate this beautiful sight we were being blessed with? on the other hand urban civilized and complex man in me was trying to hide somewhere? find a dry place to sit and laze and breath and fulfil humanly needs. You don?t come across such lifetime moments? and I really wanted to make most out of it. So I requested to setup kitchen tent and prepare soup meanwhile I lied down. Everything was wet and cold inside the camp, poor porters and other team members removed their shoes, socks and gaiters to put them besides stove for drying. Ice was melted down to water? after 30 minutes the hot nooidle soup was ready, which was most welcomed by my extremely tired body.
I came out of the camp. Clouds had let the sunlight in? Snow Lake was glowing like anything.

Please beware this view is hazardous for naked eyes, do properly protect your eyes with polarized glasses else it may cause severe damage. I came out without the glasses on and in a few moments I was unable to see anything or keep my eyes open for even a few seconds, they were wet and itching. I had to rush back in the camp find my glasses and put them on? it took a few minutes to regain my sight and senses.

Alhamdulillah we were blessed with this spellbound sight, only I knew how lucky I was feeling then. None of us had any words to describe the magical beauty?..
(Be shak) "Fabi Ayyi Aalai rabbikuma Tukazziban."

That was an amazing day, amazing time and amazing moment. All the team was like celebrating this event. Everyone was laughing, joking and looked much happier. Among the 3 porters, 2 were on Snow Lake for the first time. I came to know from Waheed, the guide, that it?s a tradition whoever crosses the lake for his first time has to treat all with Chicken Karhhai meal in Hunza/Gilgit? it felt so good to think about chicken meat after a longtime

By 3 we packed up everything and started moving on. From here you start climb over Hispar Glacier.
