this time opted caltex havoline fully synthetic oil 5/40 imported from thailand and toyota oem oil filter
one of friend using this oil in his swift and @chinyoti also recomanded same
its surpriseing vitz oil filter is just a paper filter without steel cover as usualy we have oil filters in our pkdm cars

lube shop recommended oil qty3.3 liter while i read on pw vitz fan club about exact qty as 3.1 liter so i re-filled 3.1liter
i trust pw more than mechanics

Glad to see u back in action Ahmad bhai I am surprised to see the oil filter of vitz. Never seen anything like this before. You ve selected a very premium quality engine oil. Im sure it will protect the engine in the long term. n i must must must ask u, have u changed the transmission oil yet?

Dear ahmad bhai I also seen such kind of oil filter first time
since last month bilori is just on rest hardly 50km driven and in my absence also no one touched her , iss ko sajne sanware ke shoq main I spent a lot for her makeup stuff in my recent hong kong visit now gear oil will change next month as in april its again on rest
I remmeber u stressed me for that
Inshallha in first week of may will change her gear oil

Great selection with the engine oil once you start driving it, Youll notice a great increase in fuel economy, Its actualy worth the extra money paid.

Btw what do u plan to do with the extra one liter? I usualy keep it for the generator, But im not sure in synthetic oil should be used for the generator

If theirs a possibility of opening the CVT OIL Filler port open it, dip something in check the color of the oil if its still red its safe, If its brown/Black you should change it to be at the safe side.

Many people would tell you that its a sensor isnt opening bla bla, But thats the exact port and its a bit hard to open.

Yes I opted this oil due to u and one friend here who using in his swift
Don't know what to do remaining 1 liter oil may be share with swift friend

For filter frankly I saw this first time hehe my 2012 xli also having conventional oil filter that must be in higher versons as like u said in gli auto or altis

About gear oil better I change it for peace of mind as my first concern is to clean this ride from inside or out, paint treatment, interior treatment etc before bring her on road so april bilori ki safai suthari or chamkane key naam haha , inshallha in may will change her gear oil and start using her:)

I tried the microfibre towel aswell, But results with cotton waste have been the best for me, What do u suggest?

i always use microfibers to buffout wax/polish residue as its safest and detailers around world prefer same for this purpose.
i am not sure what quality microfiber u used for which u dont have good experince actually its also depend upon quality of microfiber
i have used chinese ( chinese having differnt qualities so good quality ones nice quality and also cheap in price ), korean , thai, meguiars, cobra etc and overall all are ok

in pakistan usualy u get lower to medium quality chinese microfibers specially at hyperstar they have very bad quality microfibers range which even hurt car skin

to check microfiber quality is very easy simply feel the soft touch, its fibers should be very rich and closely weave, compact weave , touch softness by rubbing at ur cheek

always buffout with 4 times folded microfiber to make it more softer and than turn around same microfiber and give again soft wipe for supreem shine
