it doesnt happen so fast....crops take time to grow, predicting demand is difficult...this wouldnt work in pakistan, gov. wud set a minimum price....
profits for food crops will never rise...in the short run, this technology has the potential to cause food shortages....or atleast price hikes. Which are highly unlikely to affect those who have cars, but would be a great deal for those without cars/bikes, the poor people....
land needs to be cleared...they would burn existing plants.....this biodiesel plant is small one and doesnt do as much good as other already grown plants which are bigger....
It can , however , work in a communist country, if the food supply is given high priority and fully controlled by gov. But not in pakistan.....
I'm against biodiesel and any other oil for that matter...
The europeans are using biodiesel made from other crops, crops that have multiple uses, like sugar cane etc....and not this one...more over, they also import it from the poor developing countries...
And also, i googled it, and found that it releases toxic vapours during processing stages....i dont know how that would be handled here at massive level....
btw, this isnt first in world......mankind already knew about this several years ago...So the phrase
"unveiled biodiesel made from...." is incorrect...they didnt invent it....
