their is one more method which does not require vacum instead you need to make is male and female mold to make lens. check the bellow link The Clear Lens Forming Thread

i went through this one.....its not a piece of cake though. first of all where do i get that plastic sheet and what is it called in desi language. i guess the frame to hold the sheet can be made by any carpenter

plastic sheet is called acrylic... easily available in karachi..

those are best ballasts,i think we need to some how also original philips bulbs.

just go to hardware shop and tell them to give transparent plastic sheet

Thanks for liking the ballasts yar.
Philips oem are warm white. I'm more inclined towards bluish white. OEM Bluish white 5000k is hell of expensive.

had a lil convo with zach. He said even if you tap into cabin light power and use it and use two power input (cabin & switch) for invertors , they wont dim (like cabin) coz they will only fire when they have 12v given, below they wont turn on.
But yes they can be turned on from 2 sources and for that there is no need for diodes, just a relay would be enough...
mentioned some pins to be adjusted, check the links that i pm'd
