Summer is here!

I need to black out my windows! Anybody know where to get a good job done on my 2007 Honda Civic Vti Oriel?

I am thinking of getting Darkest paper on the back 3 windows and a medium tint on the two front side windows, what do you think?

So Montgomery Rd is the best place to get the tinted windows done? I think that is at the start of the Mall right?

I was thinking if that the tints did not work too well I could always get the blinds as well.

I have seen the nice blinds on the back windscreens of some cars - where are those available from?

u'll waste money and face botheration on every road as black paper is illegal and specially nowadays police is very strict with it , even then if u want it goodluck !

go to defence boulevard, there are many shops, try going to one of the big shops as they may handle the job with care and special attention. Although tints are illegal and you may face botheration as mentioned above.

I didn't know tinting the windows was illegal!

So I guess my only option is to use blinds? I have seen nice fixed blinds for the back windscreen, how about side windows? Anyone know where to get some high quality imported car blinds. Will Honda showroom sell special blinds for the civic?

black paper tinting is illegal and can cost u alot in terms of fine
they are cheap though

use good quality blinds and thats better too

lemme tell u the best way put jet black on the rear screen and a jetblack stirp on windscreen. and put zero on front 2 windows and medium on back 2 windows. this way ur car will not get too much hot and police will also not stop u.

yar i myself wanted to hav tinted glasses...but u know its illegal and when police men rip off ur black paper from glass they leave horrible marks ...thats da main set back wid tints dat it renders ur glasses very ugly ...so better use blinds and i m not sure whther they r legal or not but at least they wud damage ur glass when removed !!

my car is with
100% tint on rear screen
100% tint on quarter windows in rear
50% tint on rear door windows
25% tint on front door windows
100% strip on upper front screen

No problems yet but the police can stop and give ticket.

I once asked a traffic police warden, if it is illegal, he said that it is, but they dont care to catch tinted glasses, until the other police force does for security concerns, and max they will do is take you to police station for some fast-money.
