Black Tinted Screen

^^ i am using the following tint % and Alhamdulillah it's their 11th month now without any problem, except the fact that they have faded very much
front doors 25%
back doors 50%
back windshield 50% from outside, as tinting from inside ruins the defogger

night time driving is fine with this % i guess?

i dont remember a day without tints on my any personal car

do you have a permit for your car or what

i remember i got tints 50% on back doors on mehran once n they were removed,i never got tints again.

from outside it gives a dirty finish too

this question is bugging me a lot since a long time and because of this i got the rear glass of my lancer tinted from outside and now the paper is in pathetic condition

so i guess its really a bad idea to get it tinted from inside,outside would be better then

oh n btw you cant live without bribing others cox you cant get your work done without that,
take example of daily life,you are constructing a house,you need 2 or 3 meters,you'll never get it without bribing them infact they ask for it openly otherwise they dont do it and make you khawar only

Yes, it takes time but issue does get solved. See, it depends whether one has too much money and sawab to adjust, or time. In my case, i have loads of time!

i'll tell you another thing,you see we got some commercial setup at home which is only half where as the house opposite to mine is FULL commercial with a office,first the WAPDA comes to make whole house commercial then one day came up the CDA guy telling we are here to seal whole house,when met in person he demanded money where its not really that commercial,its just to cut off some expenses.but as if they care?
now in this case there was no wait sort of thing,obviously the other house running full commercial office must have already filled his pockets.
what can one do,who likes to pay bribes when one doesnt even has the money??
no ones likes it when its your hard earned money.

Umm I have heard the cops dont catch if the original Number plate is put up n the fancy one just attached to the bumper or anywhere at a side.. I have tints too but light ones .. cops only caught me once .. planning on getting full jet black soon hopefully

well heres the percentage u should use
back 50% (75% and 100% are just too dark)
rear 50%
front 25%

however smthing iv noticed is..... the bigger ur car is ( specially jeeps or cars like mercs/beemers etc ) the more chance u have to get away...the cars iv noticed alot being stopped by police for tints are 2000+ rollas as most of them are used for smuggling (NO OFFENSE TO ROLLA OWNERS). well atleast thats what happens in peshawar:p

As far as I know the higher the percentage the lighter the tint.
100% is almost transparent.

Not at all. 100% is the darkest. 100% tint. Do you get that? 0 is the lightest; just to reduce sunlight to some extent. Mostly cops let go because it is not visible directly during daytime. At night, yes, they reflect back so the police gets to know your windows are tinted.

sometimes i think to pass by the check post with all windows down,with power windows i can even implement the idea lol
but how is the driving at night time with the tints?isnt it difficult?

nope....100% means full black so that standing even near the car will not let u see inside. 25% sides and 50% back is best for personal cars. having a permit for full tints on personal cars isnt much use these days as the cops just dnt care.

i read in some thread here that 100% means full transparent,different people different views i guess

anyways cops dont care to stop or dont care for a tint permit to remove them?

mr,devis smile u got the actual point.same is the case with me.when i had khyber i had tinted it black and get challaned for more than 3 times so i removed them.but now in my jeep no one stops me even i had passed more than 1 year with these tinted screens.firstly i have tinted the whole jeep but my fathers eye side is week so removed only front ones.now thinking to get my mehran fully tinted but police drama bazi as it is a smaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllll car.

y dont u get it tinted from outside n relax
or just use the black cover or any cover for back instead of tint

i have already tinted the rear screen from outside but it's all scratched up after 11 months whereas the door glass which is tinted from inside is still in pretty good shape

Chaudhry is right but you are not wrong either. I have seen rear screens tinted from outside with paper ruined after some time. Best is to get a shade I guess. No permanent removal, no repeated payments.
