Blast under cars bonnet with white smoke and some liquid spill

I was on my way from office to home when exactly a street before my home a blast that was way too loud happened within my cars bonnet , pure white smoke from the sides of bonnet came out and i switched my car off immediately . As i got out of my car i saw some liquid coming out of the bottom of my cars front . As i opened the car's bonnet every thing was wet , specially the engine top and the air filter case and within a minute all the engine room got dried.I am way too worried and not sure what it is . I have toed my car to home and now i dont know what to do .

either a coolant hose burst.

but that pure white smoke is electric... i am thinking battery

post some pictures of the engine bay? what colour spill was there? and the car remained start that you had to switch it off?

I guess that’s the blast of radiator, because once i was travelling on GT road and hit a dog which made a noise of cracking Bumper but after 2 seconds a blast happened which was of Radiator which got burst.

And same happened that my whole engine bay was covered with coolant which evaporated after 10 minutes.

+1, we also had similar blast and white smoke from the radiator, I am quite sure its the same case with your car.
Inspect your radiator and you will notice it, also check the pipes from and to radiator
