Bmw e65 730d cranking but not starting

Salam Pakwheelers,

I recently bought a BMW E65 730d 2004 from Lahore and was bringing it home to Islamabad. On the way, the plastic coolant flange broke. Long story short, I had to bring the car home on a recovery truck. I added some water and parked it at home.

I replaced the coolant flange myself, but now the car only cranks and doesn’t start. When I scanned it, it showed a camshaft sensor error. However, everything looks fine to me.

I’m still new to all this and bought the car as a weekend project.
Any help or advice would be really appreciated

BMW 730d 2005 Restoration

So i recently bought a BMW 730d 2005 facelift model in navy blue colour. After seeing the condition i decided to restore it to its original glory. Mechanically its in very good condition only ABS module is faulty but cosmetically it needs denting and most of its rubber trims on doors, bumper, trunk are mostly worn out. Civic X overheat damage

So a dog jumped infront of my cousins car on M2 jumped from center divider so it was no way he could see it coming car was hit in exact front hit and damaged condenser/radiator my cousin not being a car guy did not stop the car and kept driving radiator kept leaking and car was over heated till the point it stalled i guess cr was towed back home [image][image] bumper was completely intact [image] a lil idea of damage done. oil dipstick melted [image]
