You may replace the body of any model up to 1995. Cost will depend upon the condition of the body / vehicle you purchase for replacement ranging from Rs. 500,000/- to Rs. 900,000/-
Its illegal nowadays if you don't know.
But still there are lots of cars for sale on pakwheels with body swaps.
That does not mean they are legal. Last SRO after amnesty scheme has banned such kind of alterations.

A sound advise given by Malakana. It is not illegal if it doesn't change the model. Like he has a TLC 91, and he replaces the body to the newer shape, i.e. 96-2002, that is illegal and leads to litigation.
Changing / upgrading the model is also legal. Even though an SRO was issued banning the upgrade but still it is possible and the vehicle can be legalized after paying body change custom duty and a lab test
