Mercedes Benz's (India) inter-city coaches are doing quite well here. After having tested and procured Volvo low-floors, the local city-bus authority (the BEST) is testing a few MB low-floor buses for possible future procurement...

Loving the artwork on the building, the waterfall thingy , the 3-series rims (fatory fitted and i've taken a pic of similar car too in my thread) and the G-Wagin. Cool pics again.

Roadtrip to Goa confirmed in September. I'm driving to Bangalore and from there my ride will be my friend's diesel Altis. If only i can persuade the gang to drive to Mumbai. I still have time to work on it.

Bombay's Ashok Leyland double deckers will be replaced by modern low-floor double deckers later this year. I can't wait...

Love those Ashok Leyland Titans.. They are the Same British Leyland Titan Double Deckers with a Newer Engine IINM? call it vintage or whatever..these double deckers stand abuse what scania or volvos won't. look out for 2 decades old Double Deckers Ashley's(ashok leyland) in Dhaka,Bangladesh Surviving even though badly maintained.
Peterbilt and Leyland Buses - There are Fans of the Engine "note".

Speaking of i20s, I saw a blue one minutes after the lady driving it crashed into the guardrail at high speed and then into a Honda city rental, on a sea-bridge this afternoon. She was standing there all shaken up, as were the 5 other passengers of both vehicles involved. All airbags had deployed, and the passengers seemed okay. Cops everywhere. Not a terrible package, safety-wise, the i20.

True man, the BEST's Leylands are insanely robust. Thankfully, this city's buses are very well maintained. The DDs in Dhaka have different bodies on them, right?

It's nice to see that our neighboring country is progressing and that too on a fast pace. I wish we could have such smooths roads in karachi as well Here, all that the politicians care about are their bank balances and low standard politics

Thank you, 309. Politicians on this side of the border are exactly the same as yours, the lot of them. Thankfully, we have a dedicated private sector and a largely educated workforce that will stop at nothing (including getting the government to work) to achieve what they've set out to!
