My father loved Nainital and spoke of his memories of that beautiful area.

nainital my late grand father spend his prime time there left for next venture away from Hindustan while my late father & few more stayed at boarding school there. plenty of b&w stuff is stashed with us. some albums are donated to Mohatta palace also known as Bhopal House museum in Karachi., nick please share more soon,

I had a bit of work in the east-central suburbs this afternoon, an area that I hadn't previously taken photos of...

Holy Cow! There's the new Monorail, but as you can see, the sun was NOT on my side...

That's me driving alongside it like an excited little boy...

Until it stopped at the next station...

After all that, I said to myself, "It's about time I took a ride". I then drove to the nearest car park, found a spot quickly, and then walked to the closest station in the blazing sun...

The station is in sight, and only minutes away. I don't remember being this excited about riding even the Shinkansen

This is Wadala, an industrial area with hardly any traffic, and it's sparsely populated with lots of new construction activity, which means there's lots of dust everywhere...

Here's the station! It was time for a short ride on the city's first monorail line. I must say that I was most impressed with the quality of staff...

Thank God pink isn't the only colour of the rolling stock...

One only see's these new entrants in the Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV)/big lorry segment namely, Asia Motor Works (AMW) and Bharat Benz, out in these far flung areas given their ban on inner-city roads...

Stacked parking inside skyscrapers are the norm...
